Who took the bam from the bamalam?

what is this no but seriously

Home of neurotic fangirly lady, who enjoys seriously fine stuff.

Such stuff includes, but is not limited to: socks, pretty clothing, shoes, baking, games, comic books, cosplay and tea.

HELLO TUMBLRS. How are you all? Good I hope. Random update commence:

1. I have played the DA2 demo. I am most pleased. Rogues are INSANE WHAT IS WITH THE LIMBS FLYING EVERYWHERE I love it.

2. Work is good but,

3. I am running out of spoons and don’t know how I can keep this up.

Plans for the weekend

Because I’m now working fulltime, I spend most of my lunch breaks deliberating how best to do nothing on the weekend. Such activities include:

 • Walking on the Heath in the morning, with a hot beverage
 • Feeding squirrels and looking for foxes on said Heath
 • Sitting in a cafe and reading while eating a croissant
 • Drawing in a park
 • Going antique market hopping
 • Baking a picnic and taking it to the Heath (aka cake)
 • Reading at the pub
 • Sleeping in while listening to Adele
 • Wandering through the British Museum for a day
 • Playing Mass Effect/Fable 3

I really like the Heath, okay. Outside is so underrated.

(oh god oh god I don’t want to be in an office anymore, no I don’t want to work overtime why not what do you mean why not because I’m sleepy there hahaha oh now I sound weird)

OH MY GOD I GOT THE JOB.

I WORK AT SEGA.

I START TOMORROW.

OH MY GOD I GOT THE JOB.

I WORK AT SEGA.

I START TOMORROW.

I have an interview at SEGA tomorrow.

Sure, it’s just a part-time QA but… WOO. Cue the music and nervous cake eating.

Like a baws.

A bit late but, Merry Christmas and Yultide tumblarg!

I’ve been absent these past few weeks due to sigh, terribles net and limited downloads. This makes me a sad Holly, as I’m not even able to upload things consistently to flickr. Oh, the photos I have beloveds! So many!
So, let’s cover the basics; thus far we’ve spent the past 3ish weeks in a little flat in London, and have been enjoying the city very much. (aka I love food food is great) We had a quiet Christmas, and the family gifted itself an Xbox360, which is new and shiny, and a copy of Halo Reach and Fable 3. Alas, we cannot play them, as the tv here is too tiny AND THE TEXT ILLEGIBLE.
This makes me grump, but ahhh well. We have already found a rental to stay in for the next year, in Hampstead Heath, and we’ll also be heading to Oxford after New Years for a bit of a country holiday.

I hope this festive season finds you all well, much love, and may all your snowmen and snowladies be happy and stylish!

My friend Jess and I went to the Pancake parlour! A wonderful place with delicious pancakes. The new one in Melbourne Central is rather clean and has a pretty tree thing in the middle of it; we were impressed!

Went to TGIF with my friends last night. Ate a malted turtle, very quickly. It was better than I remembered. Oh man I miss it already.

Went to the zoo with mum today! Took far too many photos, but I LOVE the Melbourne Zoo. They’re doing a lot of work to improve the habitats of all the creatures, so it’s good to go and support them.
Also, cute animals are sort of win.

I’m at uni, as I am most Friday’s. One more hour till class. Been out of class since 12:30, and it’s 3 now. Woo uni is such a popping place. (I’m lying)

If I had a wacom pen I’d draw you all a strange pigmy otter wielding a katana but sadly, I cannot be bothered to go ask for one. Instead I’ll just mumble to myself.

(pls send help)

Police scan the particularly chocolatey Yarra river.
Seriously, that river is just upside down.

I’m on the left, and miss Jess the ‘punk rocker’ is on the right.
